I first took the photographs that I needed for both of the pages of my magazine, then I placed it where i wanted it to go.
I produced my contents page by first drawing my drafts of what I wanted it to look like. This helped me to make a decision on how I wanted my contents page to be composed.
I took the photographs using a Canon Eos 400 D digital camera of people and places around my college. I then uploaded those pictures into my home drive.
I chose the best 5 photographs I had taken that also to go with the mastheads in the front cover.
3 Strengths I think both the front cover and the contents page hold are that they both show a good example of a school magazine because of the photographs used. Another strength is the layout of my front cover as well as the contents page. Lastly, The topics I headlined also show a diverse amount of topics.
3 weaknesses I think they both have is that in the front cover, there isn't many topics for the magazine although It makes up for it in the contents page. Another weakness is that the magazine is free. I think to actually produce the magazine and print it would cost a lot of money.
Lastly I thinkthe college magazine looks like a typical college magazine. If I could do it again, I would make it look more attractive and 'rebelious'
Overall, I think my magazine cover and contents page was a success. I enjoyed producing both pieces of coursework as well as the others like drafts, and the textual analysis of a college magazine.
The following Photographs are the ones I took for the front cover and contents page for my school magazine.
